The Captain heavy duty task chair from ERA is the perfect call center chair for 911 call centers, dispatch centers, and police departments. You only need to look at ERA’s curvy CAPTAIN heavy-duty task chair to know you’ll be working in total comfort all day long. The seat features floating spring suspension along with over-sized, contoured, foam-filled cushions, adjustable depth, and a rocker reclining back, and is pneumatically adjustable. There’s also an adjustable padded headrest and four-way adjustable lumbar support. Each chair is individually crafted when you order, and you can choose from leather, vinyl, or fabric upholstery in a variety of colors. If you’re on the large side, that’s no problem – you can choose an optional, all-steel 30-inch base and/or flip-up arms for easy entry and exit. ERA offers a limited lifetime warranty on this superior chair.

    Commercial Dock Delivery: The freight carrier can back right up to your dock to make the delivery
    Lift Gate Delivery: This is for commercial buildings with no dock and all residential deliveries. The carrier will lower the chair from the truck to the ground for you
    Inside Delivery with Lift Gate: The carrier will lower the chair to the ground for you but will also utilize a pallet jack to move the chair inside the first floor for you (garages for residential deliveries)


    This chair is custom made and normally ships within 8-10 weeks.

    Return Policy

    We have the very best return policy versus our competitors!

    If you wish to return an item, and it is a returnable item (products noted as Special Order/Custom Order cannot be returned), contact us for an RMA within 30 days (14 days for the ERA brand).

    Ship it back for a full refund. We will not deduct any original shipping charges or restocking fees from your refund. You simply pay the return shipping. Items must be returned within 30 days, and in the condition and cartons in which they were sent, so save the boxes!

    In the event your item is defective or damaged in shipping, we will promptly ship replacement parts. If you would rather return the item, our standard return policy applies.

    We reserve the right to bill you for shipping charges on refused shipments that are not damaged, or shipments returned due to incorrect addresses.


    Shipping Policy

    Our free shipping is available to your door or dock on all items shipped by UPS or FedEx within the 48 contiguous states. Please note that we reserve the right to bill you for any address corrections or address changes once an order ships. All items are shipped unassembled or partially assembled unless otherwise noted.

    Heavy Freight Deliveries

    Quantity orders (typically 6+ items) and all large/heavy items will require a heavy freight carrier and may require additional travel time. All heavy freight shipments are dock to dock ("tailgate") deliveries. This means that you must be available to unload the item(s) from the tailgate of the truck. If you are not available at the time of delivery and the carrier has to reschedule/redeliver your order, you may be subject to redelivery charges.

    Additional Delivery Fees

    Heavy Freight Carrier Inside Delivery - $185 if requested at time of order (price includes a lift gate service). You may incur a higher cost if requested at time of delivery.

    Heavy Freight Carrier Liftgate Service - $130 if requested at time of order (our free freight is for dock to dock deliveries only). You may incur a higher cost if requested at time of delivery.

    Heavy Freight Re-Delivery or Pick up Reschedule - $60-$120 per failed attempt
